Guinness Flight Venture Capital Trust PLC is a generalist VCT, managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers who were awarded the management contract in December 2006. The manager aims to invest the VCT portfolio in up to 70 companies, typically putting no more than 3% of the fund into any one holding. Some VCTs invest in as few as 10 companies, but Aberdeen prefers to create a larger and more diversified portfolio.

Guinness Flight Venture Capital Trust PLC is a constituent of the FTSE All-Share Index, and has one class of share in issue.

Objective

Guinness Flight Venture Capital Trust PLC aims to achieve capital growth and, in the longer term, a yield in excess of the FTSE All Share Index.
